I have assembled this JC-2 clone using matched transistor pairs, Dale resistors, silver teflon wire, good quality rca connectors. Preamp has 2 pairs of switchable inputs and two pairs of outputs.All voltages and operating points (bias, dc offset) adjusted and stable. I have been burning-in this amp in my secondary system for couple of weeks now - excellent sound, dynamics, no detectable noise, hiss or hum at max volumes, absolutely "black" background. Having owned various SS preamps I have to say that the performance of this preamp is superior to any of Adcoms, Yamahas, Denons or any other OpAmp based preamps.
