Two external power supplies made this an absolute state-of-the-art component in its day. The sound is what you'd expect from a TOTL solid-state preamp of this era: clean, clear, transparent. And silent. When I played this preamp, it transformed my otherwise tube-based system. I looked inside and it is immaculate, original, and built with super quality discrete components, including Penny & Giles volume pot. No modifications.Pristine overall appearance. No markings on front or top of the preamp. The 2 power supplies have some nicks around edges.
