This preamp looks good and sounds far better than its $95 price tag would indicate. If you have been thinking about hunting for an NAD 1020 preamp, don't bother ...the 1130 is better in every way and the phono section includes a MC step-up and capacitance adjustment. This unit has one very minor issue: the power switch makes a slight "pop" though the speakers. So, do what I do ...leave it on all the time. It'll sound much better that way. Or, just turn your amp off first, which you should always do anyway. You can check my feedback on eBay or Audiogon: reelsmith Will trade for a quality fly reel, modern or antique. Dean.
