Excellent example of a classic Sony ES product. Sony really got it right with their ES line of components and this is no exception. Two line inputs and two by-pass inputs, individual volume adjustments for output channels, remote control, and insanely good build quality. This preamp is surprisingly good; clean, detailed, yet warm and musical. If you don't need a lot of inputs, are building a highly resolving 5.1 system or have some of the other Sony ES 5.1 components, this is a great find. Rating conservatively as I am not the original owner and not sure of age. See the pics for a shot of the serial number if you want to check with the manufacturer. The unit came from the estate of a dedicated, life-long audiophile and I have thoroughly checked it in one of my systems. Functions perfectly and looks gorgeous!I do not have the original packing and box but will pack securely for shipment. Includes original remote and reprint of users manual. Thanks for having a look!
