For sale is a classic Threshold SL-10 preamp, just returned from Jon Soderberg on 8/18/16. Jon did the usual upgrade: caps and RCA's. He also replaced the power transformer, removed the balance control from the circuit and changed the volume pot to a blue ALPS (that I supplied).Cosmetically, it's a solid 7.985/10, principally due to some marring to the graphics on the top clamshell of the main unit. The faceplate is nice and bright and the power supply housing is in great shape. I added taller feet to the power supply. Operationally it's an as-new preamp, of course, not fully broken in. Selling to fund a rebuild of a pair of Quad II amps. Price of $1,000.00 includes PayPal fees and FedEx Ground shipping to anywhere in the Lower-48.
