I bought this receiver new and it has provided wonderful service ever since. A recent move to separates, however, means that I must sell it. The 7100 was part of NAD’s Monitor series and is of audiophile quality. As NAD stated in their owners’ manual, “Our Monitor Series stereo receivers are unique in the industry. No design compromises are made simply to meet a price point. Rather, NAD’s receivers contain exactly the same circuitry as NAD’s high-performance separates”. In the case of the 7100, the result was a receiver offering excellent sound, great flexibility and a sensitive, digital AM/FM tuner. The 7100 amplifier delivers 60W (into 8Ω) of continuous power per channel but, with its huge dynamic headroom, can deliver 200W on demand. It performs like a much more powerful amplifier. The phono stage can accommodate either MM or MC pickups.The original remote control is included as is a copy of the Owner’s Manual. Everything works perfectly. This is a quality unit. Its condition is rated conservatively as 8 due to its age. I no longer have the original box but will pack everything carefully in a heavy duty box with plenty of bubble wrap.
