Bias raised to 6KVVery Good Condition Acoustat Model 3 with MK-121-2B Interfaces. The Izzy Wizzy "C-Mods" have been completed, added a .01uf 6000v Cap Across the Bias Circuit, and a Neon Charge Lamp Circuit (Circuit borrowed from Quad 63 ESL Design) has been added to the speakers. The Neon Lamp does two things - Decouples the Bias Charging Circuit from the Electrostatic Panels and acts like a Battery Trickle Charger rather than a Constant Bias Charge, and also indicates potential Panel Faults when Neon lamp Pulses Rapidly. Also raised bias voltage to 6KV by adding another diode/cap ladder string on the voltage multiplier circuit. Raising Bias voltage allows 4-6db more SPL, and much easier load on amplifier. Speakers Sound Very Impressive. I just have to sell off some equipment to fund new projects. You Don't Have To Spend a Fortune on Soundlab ESLs to get Incredible Bass from ESL Speakers.. Speaker socks in overall good condition and have very few pulls and tears, but one does have a small hole in the back of the speaker.
