For sale are a pair of very early 6 weld Altec / Western Electric 755a speakers with custom Altec 618 clone cabinets. These legendary full range drivers are capable of offering the listener an extremely honest and emotional performance. The are fully functional and close in DCR. The cabinets are solid and present well. If shipped, the drivers will be packed separately from the cabinets, so expect 3 boxes; one for the drivers and one for each of the cabinets. Local pickup and demo in the Washington DC area is definitely preferred, but I’m also willing to drive 3 hours in any direction from zipcode 20112 to deliver them.
