One-owner rare Dunlavy SC-II in absolutely perfect condition purchased from an authorized Dunlavy dealer. No nicks, separation of veneer anywhere or blemishes of any kind. Drivers are all perfect. AudioGon bluebook has these valued at $1,265 in "average" condition. Obviously, mine are far better than "average" and have been kept in a smoke- and pet-free environment. They have never been overdriven or abused in any way. These phase-coherent and time-aligned speakers provide a startling soundstage that rivals the best at any price in height and width. You'll hear detail that you never knew was there without sounding harsh or unnatural.

John Dunlavy was a brilliant engineer and speaker designer whose speakers could accurately reproduce a square wave. Combined with a really good subwoofer (or a pair), their performance competes with that of speakers costing far more with much more apparent sophistication. I had a pair of Dunlavy SC-IVA and these with the subs are easily their equal as they have the same drivers minus the 10-inch woofers. For many of you, I'll wager that these speakers would represent a significant step up at a very modest price.

Boxes and owners manual included. Pickup in Knoxville, Tennessee, required.
