Electro-Voice Interface D TOTL speakers (same as Sentry VI studio monitors) circa 1981. I am the second owner, both non-smoking homes.These speakers are VERY RARE, especially in clean condition with the original active bass EQ. Highly desirable teak veneer is in very good condition with a few minor scratches and one small well-repaired corner ding. The original owner re-covered the brown grilles with more attractive ultra-black grille cloth of the same weave and weight. The dynamics and micro-detail of these speakers are truly amazing! Highly efficient (97db/w/m) and rated for up to 500 wpc, so these can be used with flea-power or big SS depending on your musical tastes and desired listening levels. Using my 25wpc VTL Tiny Triodes, the sound is sublime at "safe listening levels". With big SS wattage such as my Threshold T200, these speakers are capable of clean, rock concert level SPL (115 db +). Bass is truly earth-shaking, unlike anything I have ever experienced from a single cabinet speaker. Downward-firing woofers (16 pound magnets!) have been professionally re-foamed using correct-compliance OEM foam. I can deliver anywhere along the Front Range of the Rockies, or along the I-70 or I-40 corridors east of the Rockies, as far east as St. Louis or Nashville (going on a road trip to visit my dad in Nashville in November).
