One pair of JE Labs style open baffles. These baffles are based on a famous Japanese design. They were built by a master cabinet maker using 3/4” Appleply wood. Appleply is an expensive, top quality plywood made only by States Industries. It comes standard in a natural maple finish. The dimensions of the baffles are 35.5” (W) x 31.5” (H) x 11.5” (D). Included in this sale are a pair of 12” high plywood bases in a maple finish. You can use the baffles with or without the bases but once I heard them with the bases, I could never go back to not using them (I tried). With the bases the overall height is 43.5”. The baffles also have 3” cutouts for tweeters but are currently closed up with wood plugs. Also included but not shown in the photos are a pair of wood adapters to use with 10” drivers. Between these and the tweeter cutouts, it gives you a lot of flexibility for future changes. The baffles are currently loaded with a like new pair of British made Fane Sovereign 12-250TC full-range speakers. These 12” drivers have the following specs: 8 ohm impedance, 100dB sensitivity, 250 watt power handling (1000 watts peak) and a frequency response of 45 – 17K. They can be used with virtually any amplifier but low power tube amps work best. Last, their Thiele-Small Qts spec is .64 which is ideal for use on an open baffle. These are too large to pack and ship so the options are pick-up in the Albany – Saratoga Springs, NY area OR I can deliver/meet within 100 miles of Albany NY for a nominal fee. I can demo the speakers for a serious buyer. My asking price for everything is little more than the cost of the Appleply wood itself. As can be seen in the 1st photo, I moved them to my big system to remember how good they sounded. You will not be disappointed! Thanks.
