A complete five speaker home theater system comprised of the R645 with KSU for main speakers, BB515 for center channel, and R630 model for surrounds.
R645 – I’m the second owner. Speakers are in excellent condition with the exception of a small ¼” hole and a 1/8” x ¼” hole in one of the grills. It has the KSU upgrade with a single capacitor on the ribbons. Not bi-wireable due to upgrade.
BB515 – Original owner. Excellent condition. Nice homemade floor stand with spikes which tilts the speaker up in the front about 2 inches or more by adjusting the spikes. Provision for bi-wiring but original jumper straps included.
R630 – Second owner. Speakers are in good condition with some knocks in the edging due to inadequate packing by previous seller. Absolutely fine for surround positioning. Grilles are fine. Original crossover has been disabled and a single capacitor for the ribbons, just as in the R645 KSU upgrade. Spoke to Mr. John Meyer (NFR designer/owner) and he provided the proper value capacitor for the ribbons. Also included is a spare pair of 30” ribbons which look and play fine (in original box). Also not bi-wireable due to upgrade.
I have boxes for the R645’s and the BB515 but don not want to ship unless a USHIP conveyance is the carrier. The ribbons are extremely heavy, even the 30”, let alone the 45” version. Local pickup. (R645 comprised of four boxes). The ribbons can be removed easily for transport. Spikes for the R645 & R630 (the BB515 has no provision for spikes).
I have moved and current room will not accommodate a conventional home theater speaker system, otherwise there’d be no way I’d be selling these.
