Quarter-wave transmission line speakers, with beautiful cabinet work by Jim Salk and crossover network by Dennis Murphy. Exceptionally flat frequency response, seamless midrange, a top end that keeps on going with no glare, precise imaging and soundstage. Factory packaging places both speakers in a single carton, weighing about 120 pounds. The plinths, spikes and hardware travel in a second carton. My shipping costs from Salk were about $150.
