I traded for this pair of 604-8k's earlier this year.I had a technician build the crossover design recommended by Jeff Markwart [google his name for complete info on these specific crossovers]. Excellent high grade parts, receipt avialable, [including clarity caps, mundorf resistors,supra wiring and goertz air inductors] were used throughout and I paid $650 for these. Then I had a local furniture refinisher put on a new 1/2 inch thick layer of oak veneer. This was $1200 [receipt can be provided].These speakers are now both cosmetically very beautiful and sound magnificent!They have a very holisitic, 3d soundstage that makes it sound as if the band is in your room. No sub needed as bass is low and tuneful. Highs are shimmering and clear and can be adjusted by a knob on the crossover. The mids are to die for!!! This is a rare chance to get a pair in this condition for this price. Local pick up only...due to the weight
