I have a pair of Basszilla Platinum MK II speakers for sale. The BassZilla is an Ultra high-efficiency (97bd 1W1M) loudspeaker designed by Dick Olsher (Black Dalia Acoustics Ltd) to facilitate the ultimate listening experience with low power single ended triode(SET)amplifiers. The BassZilla combines a high-efficiency, direct radiator, bass module using the latest upgrades which include the Eminence Definimax 4015LF 15" woofer. The midrange driver is a Fostex single cone FE208EZ Sigma 8 inch running from 200 hz to about 4khz. Then an upgraded Aurum Cantus G2 ribbon tweeter works from 4khz up to beyond 20 khz. The new tweeter is very sweet and detailed with a velvety texture. The midrange and tweeter are used in an open baffle as a dipole radiator. Dimensions are 52" high x 23" deep x 18" wide. The bass cabinets have casters for easy placement. The bass cabinets have the woofers wired to the crossover so the speaker wires provided can hook directly to your amplifier. It can be used with a single amp or you can biamp. I used them in a biamp set up which sounded wonderful. Also included is the BassZilla loudspeaker Kit Plans a booklet that shows the evolution and updates to the Basszilla loudspeaker. I would prefer local pick up because of the size of the speakers.
