Cain & Cain Abby (Restored)I have a pair of Cain & Cain completely restored. I am the second owner. I received the speakers in (Fair) shape. The cabinet were stripped and refinished. A "Depth of Field Enhancement Kit" purchased from www.blumenstineaudio.com was added as an upgrade to the speaker cabinets. The original Fostex drivers have been upgraded to the Audio Nirvana Super 6.5 Alnico full range drivers with no regrets! To protect the integrity and pedigree of the speaker cabinet I did not have back of the speakers refinished. As you see from the attached photos the original label with s/n and date. With the combined upgrades the speakers went to a new level of listening pleasure! The soundstage is wide from left to right, from back to forth. The imaging..holographic! I have had AMAZING results with tube and solid state amplifiers. My season with the speakers (3yrs) have come an end. I wish to try something different. Rating 8 due to the upgrades.
