I have a pair of Magnepan 2.7qr speakers that have had the Magnestand treatment. They are done up in Cherry. They have the Jupiter/Mundorf Silver/Oil caps in them. I spent the better part of a year finding the most pristine 2.7's I could. I ended up buying the stock 2.7's from the original owner in the Twin Cities (Maggies are built in a suburb of the Twin Cities). Prior to the speakers heading off for the mods they had not been shipped anywhere! There is not much I can say about the speakers that PGunn already wrote up. I liked they quite a bit stock and the mods just took them up to an entirely new level. The most surprising change that I noticed was the increase in dynamics and bass.Local pick-up only. They don't fit in my car and I won't risk shipping them. Thanks Andrew
