For sale Altec One (1) 291- 16K 1.4" compression driver. Although the label says "291-16B" I believe this to be a 16ohm "K" which is the Ferrite Magnet version of this driver. Very hard to find Altec big format 1.4" driver with 16ohm diaphragms. Measures 11ohms which is "proper" and posses a very strong magnet. Please inquire for more pictures of these. Very heavy, so, shipping is probably around $60 in the US. Buyer to pay actual shipping costs. Can meet around Atlanta. Please review the pictures and ask questions. For the serious buyer, I will be glad to provide higher rez pictures. Can provide pictures of diaphragm, meter readings, attachments etc.. It sounds terrific. I have been pairing this with a 291 and I (and others) cant tell the difference. I have hundreds of positive feedback and 20 years of history on Ebay and Audiogon and can provide that info if needed.
