I prefer a full range driver to the Coax and so I swapped these out. The wave guides came loose in shipping to me. So I removed the dust caps and re-glued the guides (I Used JB Weld, They should not come loose again) I am including a new pair of the 4.5" Screened type dust caps (same thing that was there originally) all you need do is glue them in place or not (The open look did not bother me)The drivers consist of the 12 in mid with the compression tweet mounted on back, The crossover is a 2 way for this driver (I dont really know the crossover points but, they sound great). I used this crossover for the mid / highs and a plate amp for the bass, Compared to the 3 way full passive crossover using a separate amp on the bass and the included 2 way on top. It greatly improved the speakers performance. ( All the reviewers agree that Bi-amping the EP was the way to go) Trades considered, EL84 based Fully working & / or refurbished amps / integrated amp. or mono blocks, SET or PP. I would also consider a NICE Step Up Transformer for my TT / Cartridge Price of the speakers with the crossovers is 600.00 plus the trip and fees
