Classic pair of vintage Allison Four bookshelf speakers that sound fantastic and look good. 8" woofers were recently re-foamed. Tweeters and grills in good shape. The cabinets are nice but not perfect and are quite presentable. There are a few marks and light veneer chips along the edges that have been filled in. The previous owner (I am the second owner) refinished the speakers to a light finish. In refurbishing the speakers I darkened the finish somewhat to bring it closer to the original walnut finish. Conservatively rated a 6 for appearance only. Most importantly the Four's sound great with deep bass that belies a speaker of this size. $245 cash, firm and pick-up only. Located in Delaware. Convenient to I-95. Will demo. Stands not included. Thanks for looking.
