Selling a used pair of Morel Octave Signature Bookshelf Speakers in high-gloss, 7-layer black lacquer finish with dedicated, solid-steel, black baked-enamel Morel ST-65 stands. Please note the drivers are in perfect condition and the speaker cabinets and stands are in excellent condition except for some light, inconspicuous marks. Also, there are three, curved, plastic bars that protect each tweeter and the previous owner inadvertently cracked the middle one--the longest and thinnest one--on each tweeter. I repaired the cracks carefully using liquid plastic cement and you can't see them unless you look very closely. If properly set up, the speakers are capable of bass power, extension, and speed that will surprise you as well as fantastic imaging. They also have a wonderful sense of PRaT and mate especially well with gear like Naim, Linn, and Simaudio. In short, if you're looking for a well-balanced speaker that makes your toes tap and has very open, smooth, and detailed highs and mids, these speakers are certainly worth a listen.
