Excellent, rarely used pair of WLM La Scala Monitors. These are wonderful sounding monitors from Austria, very nice build quality with very nice veneer work. Very rarely do the monitors come up for sale. I had been looking for quite sometime and ran across this one owner pair, and have enjoyed them off and on in my system. Only reason for wanting to move them on is downsizing home and moving in few months. Will keep my Duevel Venus speakers as my main and only set. Size of the cabinets are about 20” tall, by 10.1” wide, and 11” deep. Weight is approx. 34 pounds each. These do not come with grilles, at the time this was an option. I will rate these as an 8, but really closer to a 9. There is one very tiny blemish near back bottom edge of one speaker, is a slight indent, roughly 1/16” long, yet veneer is not broken through. I tried to photograph it, but it is so minute and difficult to capture. I am extremely picky, and was able to not be bothered with it at all. Original box is no longer available, time took its toll. These will be well packed. These will not be cheap to ship, and again, I prefer not to ship if possible. I would prefer to find someone close and hand deliver, as I do not trust shipping these, no matter how well they get packed. Open for discussion, but again, prefer local/close buyer if possible. Other than very tiny blemish, no other issues, drivers are in great shape, has rubber surrounds for mid woofers, so no maintenance required. Tweeter attenuators work wonderfully and have very moderate range, enough to tune to your liking. No warranties of any kind, they work and sound fine. Again, prefer local/close buyer, open to lower 48 US States only. Please no silly lowball offers, I don’t need to give them away, or even sell them, but would love to see them go to a music lover that will enjoy these unique transducers. Please see my feedback.
