One used Amperex "Pinched-Waist" 6922 Vacuum tube. It came out of a Fisher model FM-90X Gold Cascode Tuner. This was the very first hi-fi component to use the 6922. That would explain why this tube has a 7L2 type code and December, 1956 date code: 46L (most PW 6922s have a 7L3 type code and a 1957 or 1958 date code).
Of course it has a D-shaped getter halo ring and was Made in Holland. It tests good at 74/74 where 50 is the minimum GOOD level on my TV7 tube tester. Along with the early Siemens CCa, these PW 6922s make all other 6DJ8/6922s types sound defective in comparison! Thanks.
