Sylvania 6SN7GT. The civilian version of the famous Sylvania 6SN7W tubes that were made for the military. They have the same black T plates and full “chrome dome” (full getter flashing) but lack the internal support rods. About half the price of the military tubes. Made during the early ‘50s. From my personal collection.These Sylvanias have a very full, rich and powerful sound very similar to the military 6SN7Ws. Deep bass. A wide/deep, 3 dimensional soundstage with lots of detail. The sonics of each pair were tested in my preamp and amp. Tubes were tested on my Hickok 600A gm tester. Measurements are in micromhos. AVERAGE NEW 6SN7 TUBES TEST AROUND 2600 GM.
