I'm selling a few tube testers. This Stark was my favorite tester until I got my hands on a laboratory-grade Western Electric KS-15750-L1 from the estate of Alan Douglas who wrote 'The Book of Tube Testers and Classic Electronic Test Gear.' My Stark 9-66 is perfect in every way but it developed an intermittent short that behaves as follows: When I press the P4 key to test Gm, the needle on the meter doesn't move. But when I firmly rap on the case near the bottom right side of the meter, the needle moves and I get a correct reading. So I know that the meter is good, but my diagnosis is that there must be a loose connection -- probably a faulty solder joint. That being said the person who buys it should have enough skill to find and repair the solder joint. All other functions are sound. The roll chart is good. $400 OBO
