The Rotel RB-985 mk II amplifier is a solid-state home-theater powerhouse. 5 x 110w of THX-certified power, it will handle low impedance loads just fine. Very robust construction, smooth sound and in near-mint condition. This one has had intermittent use in a 3rd system that I am dismantling. It's a great no-nonsense power amp with enough juice to handle home-theater duty or set it up to bi-amp a pair of stereo speakers and a sub also.
