For Sale is a Kenwood KD-3070 turntable with some upgrades. As many of you already know, this is one of the best value turntables. And, I've made some further improvements. I have recently replaced the power cord with a newer one, for a better connection. And, I removed the cheesy, age-old, stock interconnects. And, I replaced the entire interconnect cables and RCA jacks with newer and longer ones. Additionally, I have added a significant amount of mass to the underside of the platter. And it sounds great as a result. Again, this KD-3070 is a highly respectable table bone stock. However, with the upgrades, it simply sounds wonderful. Buying this table, will put you way, way ahead of the curve. The KD-3070 is a Direct Drive and Semi-Automtic turntable with Auto Return. There's no belt to ever wear out, and have to be replaced. It comes with the original dust cover, 45 adapter, original headshell, platter mat, as well as the original counter weight. And I'm including a KAB Acustics record clamp. All lettering and badging is clean, and it works as new. You'll just have to acquire a nice cartridge. Im running a Denon 103R. Which sounds very good. Conservatively rated as "Good" for age. And, Due to the fact that turntable has some scuffs and swirls on the Dust Cover. As well as, some small white marks from the original white bumbpers on the front corners of the Dust cover. However, all hinges and holder are fine. And everything functions properly. This KD-3070 is a solid turntable. If you're looking for a turntable on the cheap, look no further. You've found it.
