I parted out a Dual 1249 turntable because it had some frustrating issues with its automatic operation, and I didn't feel like messing with it. Before I dismantled it, the turntable worked fine manually, so I expect that all of these parts are working fine.Here is a sample of what is available, with part numbers from the 1249 Service Manual (downloaded from Vinyl Engine): Tonearm (236 903) and counterweight (236 904), tonearm rest (236 911), one-piece platter and rubber mat (292mm dia. with a 16mm dia. spindle hole), muting switch (232 987) and shield, cueing lever, anti-skating controls, power switch (233 008), suspension springs, and some knobs, levers, and linkage. Most of these parts are used on other Dual models, so download the manual for your turntable from Vinyl Engine to see if they will work for you. The tonearm (236 903) is priced at $20, and most small parts are $5 to $10.
Shipping is possible, but expect to pay $15 to $20 on top of the price of the parts, and several parts can be shipped in the same package for the same price.
