Spacedeck 294 with Ace Space 12" tonearm plus Wave Mechanic *accepting offers, but no low ballersThe reviews are spot on about this table in that it provides great solid imaging, a jet black background (best I've ever heard), as well as very stable speed and sound stage. The wave mechanic provides great prat and the before mentioned stability. The deck is solidly overbuilt and the platter is heavy with unique materials, as well as the 14" size provides a flywheel effect that gives the turntable a quality sound. The tonearm is an excellent tracker and VTA is really easy to adjust, and performs without a flaw. Many reviews point to the 294 as the sweet spot in the entire Nottingham line up. Functions flawlessly. There is a scratch on the underside of the platter but not noticeable at all because it is underneath and out of view. The front right side of the platform has a small shallow half inch mark that is not really evident unless you are really close and cannot be seen from a front view.This is factored into the lower than average price.
