It has the carbon-fiber tonearm, gel-filled platter mat and feet. This is a very heavy TT.This TT is reviewed on Vinyl Engine and Vintage Knob. This was made during Sony's best period of TT manufacturing. Don't be fooled by the appearance: The plinth is made from a very heavy die-cast aluminum frame. The mechanics are in excellent shape with the auto-feature of the tonearm that functions beautifully. It can also be operated in manual mode. Research this table on this site and others. You will discover this is a hidden gem. The neon bulb for the strobe is brand new. Interconnects from tonearm to RCAs have been upgraded to OFC/silver/teflon with OFC/gold Onix RCAs. These are 26 gauge coaxial wires and they make a huge improvement in the sound over the stock wires. I used the table with a Denon DL-S1 with excellent results.
