for sale: pair of rare vintage 5751 tubes - similar construction, marked GE and Sylvania in green print. The tube construction is double mica, grey plate, round getter. Sold to me as NOS.Tested strong with a TV-7 tube tester. The test result for one tube is marked on it as 44/46 where 32 is considered good. Guaranteed to work (test results not guaranteed to be the same, of course). I tried these and they worked and sounded great. Sold for use or collection. Non-original boxes. 5751s are direct replacements for 12Ax7s, though with slightly lower output level. 5751s are considered quiet, long-lasting tubes and often recommended for use in phono applications. if you are looking to try 5751s here is a low cost entry point.
