Marantz Model 125 Tuner in original box with documentation. Checked out by certified tech- no problems. All caps replaced with Nichicon Muse same values. Lights working fine, all potentiometers flushed twice with DeOxit FaderLube. Chassis metal cleaned and protectant applied. Power Supply and audio signal path circuit boards carefully cleaned, inspected and any suspect solder connections reflowed. High-quality Kester silver-bearing solder used in all part replacements and re-solder work.
One of the first models to have Dolby Noise Reduction for FM.
The Marantz Model 125 is a high quality tuner employing some of the latest advances in tuner technology: Dual Gate FET RF amplifier and mixer, phase linear filters, phase locked loop multiplexing, and 3 levels of muting based on signal strength, noise level and tuning.
