JOLIDA GLASS FX DAC MARK I --This is the first version of this well-respected tube DAC. For the money it is a great DAC, fully functional and in super cosmetic condition. I have heard this is the best sounding of the three versions Jolida made. I have still another one of these in a second system. This one has been replaced in my main system by a much more expensive upgrade, which is why it is for sale. It supports 192kHz/24-bit through its coaxial input. I was not able to pass signals higher than 44kHz (standard CD's) through the TosLink input, and never tried the USB input. I will include the stock TungSol tubes, power cord, and original box. For another $45 I will also include a nice set of NOS Mullard 12ax7 tubes which have a much smoother midrange and deeper bass than the stock tubes. Note that as is usual with Mullards, the top end is somewhat rolled off, so these would serve well in a system that was otherwise bright. I will pay the Paypal fee.
