JOULE-ELECTRA LAP-150MKII FULL FUNCTION ALL TUBE TWO CHASSIS PREAMP - USED - $4,450Fully tested, checked-out and ready to go this LAP-150MKII combines the terrific all tube Joule LA-150MKII line stage with their OPS-1 all tube MM/MC phono preamp in the main chassis. The slightly smaller chassis contains the power supply which connects to the main chassis via a several foot long umbilical cable. This was around a $9,500 preamp when new, and this is a awesome deal for only $4,400. It is in excellent condition cosmetically and operationally. It is complete with manual, remote, and factory box. We have fully gone through the whole preamp, tested all tubes biased the line stage and on board OPS-1 phono stage to Joule factory specs, and blew out any dust inside. Though Joule-Electra is no longer in business, we (Signature Sound) was a Joule-Electra dealer for 15 years and I am still in touch with Joule owner/designer Jud Barber. I've been trained on the design of Joule gear by Jud and perform repairs, upgrades, and maintenance on Joule-Electra gear (references available).
