I bought this AR ES-1 turntable a few years back from Echo Audio in Portland, Or. and restored/upgraded it extensively. It has the Audioquest PT-5 tonearm with upgraded DIN cabling($200). Sub-chassis is a George Merrill sub-chassis($400). The platter is Vinylnirvana with the upgraded spindle($300). Phoenix Engineering power supply, with manual included, ($325). New pulley, new belt, new motor and one extra motor. Included is the original dustcover, no cracks, the original sub-chassis and a wood armboard for the original sub-chassis, and original platter. New springs recently installed. Custom tonearm alignment protractor included. The Merrill subchassis has a small chip near one of the spring mounts, but does not effect functionality, and spring is solidly in place.Plinth has been lined with Dynamat and adjustable spiked feet installed. Round level will be included. No cartridge is included at the asking price. It will be dismantled and packed piece by piece, you will have to put it together. Subchassis will remain in place. Tonearm will be removed, but it will be marked for easy installation and I will include an allen wrench to tighten it in place. I used a handheld digital RPM meter to calibrate speed. It will be calibrated before shipment, but I will leave it up to the new owner to calibrate the speed if they want. Power supply manual is fairly straightforward. It will be packed in a few boxes and shipped USPS ground insured. Thomas
