Green Mountain Audio Callisto speakers with beautiful Cocobolo trim in excellent condition. Second owner. The only marks on the speakers that I can see are on the bottoms, near the recesses where the spiked bases fit. These speakers have been exceptionally well cared for in a smoke free environment. Outstanding clear sound with tight tuneful bass, holographic mid-range, extended clean highs, and no cabinet resonances. They work beautifully with all types of music and amplification, and their organic shapes look good with any decor. The resolution of minute musical detail was staggering.” The Callistos were presented a Blue Moon Award for “exceptional size defying performance.”The cabinets are vented 4th-order Butterworth with nearly zero box loss; twin 1.5” aerodynamic ports that fire down onto the supporting base; the specially-shaped base prevents resonances between base and cabinet bottom. Impedance is 4.8 Ohms, +/- 0.75 Ohms from 100Hz to 20kHz. Sensitivity is 90dB for 2.83V at 1m. Response is exceptionally smooth, at +/- 0.75dB from 55Hz to 20kHz, -3dB at 47Hz and 21kHz. The speakers are dynamically linear within 0.5dB to 100dB. Max SPL is 105dB at 3m. The Callisto bases have adjustable rear spikes to allow the cabinet to be tilted up or down for the clearest sound at the listening position. Dimensions are 20.125” high, 8.75” wide, 11.5” deep with base. These speakers are heavy by design, but they are manageable at 56 lbs each. They will be shipped in three carefully packed cartons (one each for the speakers, another for the bases). I will split shipping costs w/buyer.
