Up for sale is my beloved Odyssey Stratos, Dual Mono, power amplifier. I am the original owner having purchased it in March, 2010. This is a true Mono design within a single enclosure and requires the use of two power cords, one for each channel and it has two separate on/off switches. You can see in one of the pictures the two purple Shunyata power cords which I used. This amp, like most all of Klaus’ amps are custom built and this is no exception. It is a Stratos Extreme, in that it has the additional 60,000uF memory bank for a total of 180,000uF, VA Plitron transformer, red boards, with 2X200+ watts RMS @8ohms. I have the original box, manual, and CD.
You may have noticed a custom Plexiglas cover on the amp. This was made by me, all 500+ holes, simply because this is a beautiful amp not only to listen too, but also to see. The clear Plexiglas cover is included as well as the original aluminum cover. Some of you may question the fact that without the metal cover, shielding may be an issue. I did not find that to be the case at all, however, since the original aluminum top is also included this is a mute point.
I would consider this amp to be in pristine condition. I has all of the remaining 18 year warranty left as I am the original owner and the warranty is transferable to a second owner.
