This is a Moth Alamo S turntable that I used for about 2 1/2 years. It's Rega-based, has an RB250 tonearm modified with Incongito wiring and a Michell Tecnoweight. The table has an acrylic platter. I've also added a Riggle VTAF.
I had motor mount problems with this deck when I bought it and the motor is glue-gunned in place. The RB250 arm is from a batch that Rega produced with a slight twist in the headshell area that will require shimming the cartridge in order to get correct azimuth.
I've also had problems using moving magnet cartridges--for some reason these produce a loud hum. MC cartridges work fine. I tried over and over again to correct this problem but never could.
Despite all it's faults and despite the canted headshell, the table performed well and could be parted out for other projects if nothing else.
I'll dissasemble it for shipping and will ship according to your preference.
