New to the Asylum yet proud to be an inmate as I try to find my way in the confusing world of audio. Cleaning up old stuff I don't use anymore and found my old Unitrac arm. The problem with it is it is complete except for the headshell. I searched all of its possible locations and must declare it permanantly lost. The rest of the arm is complete and original. The headshell wires are in place as well. The litz wires will need to be extended as they had been shortened to the current length when mounted to the table I purchased the arm on. Arm was changed to an ET2 but that is a whole other story. Best bet for a headshell would probably be to inquire around as these originally shipped with 2 and it seems there are a reasonable amount around still. Given this constraint, I am open to offers as it is nearly impossible to determine a market price, let alone one without the headshell. The other potential would be to have one made as it is a single machine screw that holds it on. Original box tools manuals, mounting jigs, shot, washers, spare counterweight all included. Arm was working perfectly when removed, bearing is silent and free. Shipping will be free in the U.S., your cost internationally.
