The NL's connect between the amplifier and speaker binding posts.The Foundation Research Noise Load NL-1's do a fabulous job at removing the harshness or grunge normally associated with overly bright and fatiguing highs. The NL-1 removes much of that fatigue and in turn provides a greater level of musicality. The NL-1’s filter out ultrasonic noise from your cables which often times act like an antennae with increased pollution from cellphones, satellite transmissions and other wireless data transmission protocols.
