Does it all-rips, plays, and streams onto a 2TB hard drive. You can use it's DAC or use the digital out to an outboard DAC. Included is my Apple iPod Touch which you can use to access the software instead of the server's screen. Streams internet radio, can be used wirelessly (has it's own antenna),or with USB, ethernet, etc. Sound is teriffic high end, renders imaging, sound stage, and smoothness. Does not give away much compared to it's $$$ competition. This is an easy, painless way to get a music server into your system.
