For sale is an Eastern Electric Minimax tube pre-amplifier. I had advertised this one over the summer and then decided to keep it, but have not been using it much so it is back on sale. This is the longest serving piece in my collection; I’ve owned this for years now and it has performed flawlessly during that time. This is a wonderful sounding preamp; there are many reviews and positive comments on this preamp online. A real jewel of hifi and a tube roller's dream, with so many tube combination possibilities. This one comes with a nearly new Tung Sol white labelled 6x4 rectifier and a matched pair of Conn labelled RCA cleartop 12au7, the best sounding 12au7 I’ve found. Ships in factory original packaging. Note: the led "on" light burned out years ago. Being a tube amp its easy to see when it is on by the glow of the tubes! Otherwise this pre is in nearly flawless condition.
