The RM-5 is sold, but the RM-10 is still available.
Here's a beautiful combination--especially for you Quad 57 owners. The RM 10 puts out 35 watts and is all point-to-point wiring; it is simply one of the best medium wattage tube power amps you can buy. The RM-5 Mk II is the last of 4 RM-5s in my collection. It is a perfect mate to the RM 10 and includes a phono stage. The difference between a RM-5 Mk II and RM-5Mk III, is the latter has two sets of main outputs, rather than one. The circuit and appearance is identical. The price for both is $1450 for both units. Individually, the RM-10 is $950 (the last one sold here was listed at $1288 and sold for $1200) and includes two sets of RAM output tubes and new Sovtek 12AX7 LPS inputs. The individual price of the RM-5 Mk II is $550. You can check my feedback on Audiogon, which is 100% positive (user name: gmuffley).
