Radii DPP-105 - purchased in April 2014 on Agon. Selling only because I purchased an Ayon Orion II amp.

Tubes included: 8-Svetlana EL-34 (less than 50 hrs. of use) 4- JJ EL-34L, 4-JJ EL-34 4 -6BM8 Hawthorn Japan. All the power tubes hold their bias right on the money.

From the previous owner: This is a powerful stereo tube amplifier that is an absolute steal for the kind of quality this unit is. This unit is 78 watts per channel, has very easy individual tube biasing, is built like a tank and plays far and away above the price. This amp was built for Wayne the owner of Boulder Cables by Radii Audio who is the OEM manufacturer for Antique Sound Labs, using custom transformers, 10mm front plate and upgraded capacitors throughout. I just had my local tech go through and bring it up on a variac to make sure everything is copacetic and working well. He replaced one resistor. When I first got the amplifier it had a very low level mechanical hum that I was made aware of when I purchased it. It was actually over-stated and I could not hear it at all unless the volume was off. I took it to my tech(Roger Hugg here in Seattle-very well regarded) and he solved the mechanical transformer hum quickly and I got it back playing silently. It has never come back since. The sound is very good, especially for this kind of price range. Bass is strong and tight(not mushy), the mids are not forward and have just enough bloom and the treble is extended. I have never found this amplifier to be bright, even with female vocals. If you have speakers that typically would present a tough load for tube amps, this is a good answer. It will come with all of the tube dampeners and tubes shown in the photo. The previous owner had said that Gold Lion KT-66’s take this amp up another notch, however, I never felt the need to change from the EL-34’s. Truly, you would have to spend quite a lot more money to better this amp. This is not an exaggeration, this amp plays way above this price(kind of silly really how much amp this is for $700.) I will ship at owners expense. Comments from TNT Audio at an audio show regarding this amplifier and Boulder Cables: http://www.tnt-audio.com/shows/maf03
