This is one of the all time classic CD players from back in the first CD days. It has an all tube(6 tubes) output stage and one of the first of its kind. Player still works well but now it is more of a vintage collectors item than its ability to sound as good as today's present players(probably). But who knows? To someone else's ears it may sound as good if not better. The only player that was more expensive back in it time was the Cal Audio Tempest II. That had an outboard power supply but from what I was told was that even though it cost more, because of the umbilical cord being anemic in it size and because of the wire lengths its ability to do digital properly was compromised making the better(less expensive though)this version.Player has no remote. There are a few scuffs on the top plate and will be cleaned up before shipping. Price includes shipping to anywhere on the East coast of the continental U.S. and anywhere on the west coast of the continental U.S. for an additional $20. No shipping cost to a local pickup(subtract $25) but a deposit will be required to hold it. I DO NOT accept Pay Pal.
