Quite a unique design by the late Jerry Ozment (previously engaged by Jadis, VAC, Conrad Johnson, Altis, and Thor Audio for their DAC development) that is based on Asahi Kasei 4393 Advanced Multi-Bit 96kHz 24-Bit converter ICs and has interstage transformer coupling with tube output, and supports hi-res formats of up to 24/96. The 34MXL model was marketed around 10 years ago, and its MSRP at that time is reported at around $4500.

Also, all RCA connectors have been replaced with Vampire Wire gold-plated connectors, and stock signal wiring has been upgraded with Neotech UPOCC Copper 22AWG PTFE flat solid core copper wires in teflon. Stock tubes have been replaced with NOS gold-pin Amperex PQ 6922.
