Micromega MyDAC Asynchronous USB, coax and optical DACNew, never used, in the box Micromega MyDac digital to analog converter. Called a “miracle” by The Absolute Sound editor-in-chief Robert Harley, the asynchronous 24-bit/192k Micromega MyDAC netted a TAS Product of the Year honor and turned high-price high-end convention on its ear by way of producing rich, organic tonal color with jet-black backgrounds associated with much costlier products. Now, you can get it for a steal of a price. What’s more, this tiny, inexpensive box delivers no hints of digital glare or harshness. Amazing and 100% Music Direct Money-Back Guaranteed. "I dropped the MyDAC into my reference system and was shocked by how good it sounded for the price. The Micromega gives you some sonic attributes usually reserved for much more expensive DACs—qualities like air around instruments, a sense of three-dimensional space, and a laid-back sense of ease."
– Robert Harley, The Absolute Sound MyDAC's USB input works in asynchronous mode up to 24bits/192kHz and accepts USB audio class 1.0 and USB audio class 2.0 modes without any driver implementation for Mac, and a custom Micromega driver for PC. MyDAC also delivers measurably insignificant jitter in USB asynchronous mode thanks to two very low jitter master clocks (22.5792 MHz for multiple of 44.1kHz and 24.5760 MHz for multiple of 48kHz), with dedicated low noise power supplies, for the clearest, cleanest, smoothest sound imaginable from your digital files. MyDAC uses no capacitors in either the audio signal path or the power supply path for an absolute minimum of electrical interference. MyDAC is also the only DAC at this price point with a low-noise, designed-for-audio power supply. Two dedicated power supplies, one for the digital section, and one for the audio section, deliver customized currents tailored to each section's needs. The sealed ABS enclosure controls the electromagnetic field on the board level, omitting any interference from an otherwise electrically conductive casing. Features:
USB input ( Type 1 and 2) 24bits/192kHz
Coax and Toslink inputs
Extremely low jitter (less than 50ps)
Separate master clock for 44.1kHz and 48kHz
Dedicated Power Supplies; one for digital and one for analog audio
No electrolytic capacitors in audio signal path
Built-in power supply (no wall wart)
