This Dac has been upgraded to perform identically to the DAC2.The Usb input is Asynch 24/96.
The caps have been upgraded to those in the Dac2 --W4S low ESR "super-cap" (same as used in the STP-SE) 88,000uF of filtering The only difference between this Dac1 and the Dac 2 is this dac doesn't have the built in pre-amplifier. Every thing else is identical
