I have for sale a very good condition Oppo BDP-93 universal disc player. My unit is unique in that it still has the very desirable ISO-capable firmware. This firmware allows you to playback ISO files on-disc or from a network or USB stick. Why is this important? Because ISO files are exact disc images and they contain every menu, feature, full navigation, etc. that came on the original disc. This means that you can make an ISO image of any of your current discs (using the free ImgBurn software) either to another shiny disc or to a networked hard drive or a USB stick. You can then playback that image file just as though you were loading the original disc into the Oppo.Oppo was forced by the major Hollywood studios to remove this feature several years ago. Units featuring this firmware sell for $650 - $800 on Fleabay and the other usual audio outlets. I am asking only $575 for mine and it includes the original factory box and paperwork.
