I have a mint Edwards Audio HA2 with matching PSU2 power supply for sale in mint condition. This amp and power supply are nice and have served me well for 4 years. This amp and power supply retail or $1650 so I am asking half. This amp was far superior to my RSA HR-2 which it replaced.The HA2 is a combination of a normal headphone amplifier and a 3 input line level pre-amplifier plus a dedicated MP3/iPod input. It has a fully discrete output section ‘stolen’ from our bigger TALK power amplifier designs with a very low output impedance, it will even drive an efficient pair of speakers but we don’t recommend you do!! This is no standard headphone amplifier.
Input selection is via a front panel rotary control which then selects the desired input via a relay for the best possible sound quality. The pre-amp section has been stolen straight from one of our Saxon series integrated amplifiers and would not disgrace itself in a full system, just add a power amp and find out!!
The headphone jack is a professional quality 6.3mm/ 1/4” Neutrik type which will prove very robust over many years of use.
With its’s variable pre-amp output the HA2 can be used as the heart of a very compact and discrete system for the office, bedroom or kitchen
Not just content with state of the art performance it also has a new pretty face with variable brightness blue back lit logo and legends and a choice of front panel colours. Black is ‘standard’ but we are also offering Powder blue, Lime green and Pink. With these contemporary designs they should fit into even the most fussy or minimalist of interior designs.

The PSU 2 outboard DC power supply is designed to be used as a simple upgrade to the performance of our MC2 or HA2 and other future products. It is unique at the price, with its’ fully RoHs compliant gold plated custom made double sided PCB’s, natural anodised extruded aluminium case and high quality internal parts, as used by TALK Electronics. It also benefits form TALK Electronics’ buying power with it’s use of 1% thin film SMT Mini melf resistors plus low impedance electrolytic capacitors throughout. The design features split rail topology with multiple stages of regulation using our advanced design techniques to reduce all forms of noise. Power is supplied via a custom wound low noise 100VA toroidal transformer To enable it to be used with its partnering components in a wide variety of differing systems with their sometimes strange earthing arrangements it has the additional facility of being able to switch the ground between fully grounded or lifted. This makes it very flexible by optimising the system to have it’s lowest possible hum related noise. When upgrading from the plug top PSU supplied with the MM1 or MC1 it is a simple matter of plug and play using the supplied leads.
